Emerging trends on the social dimension of Education and Training: key insights from January to June 2024
The latest NESET report identifies the most relevant global trends in education research with a particular focus on Europe and the US. This report provides a summary of the most important arising topics in the last six months that may be relevant to the European Commission programme and the DG EAC Strategic Plan.
For this edition, the list of consulted journals to track these trends was reviewed and consulted with NESET expert members to ensure comprehensive coverage of relevant topics. This selection has prioritised journals with high topic significance, geographical relevance, and quality standards.
In a significant development, the report has integrated Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools to identify emerging themes within the academic literature. This innovative approach demonstrates significant potential in enhancing the objectivity and efficiency of data processing.
