International Day of Education 2022 – NESET

This year’s International Day of Education is organised under the theme “Changing Course, Transforming Education”. Celebrated annually on January 24, this day is an opportunity to reflect on education as a fundamental right. This year, the even seeks to draw attention to education’s role in building a “more sustainable, inclusive and peaceful futures” (UNESCO).

The NESET team has compiled a useful set of resources for educators worldwide, looking to learn more about the recent trends in a variety of areas related to social dimension of education and training.

Explore our publicly available analytical reports on topics such as the effects of COVID-19 on higher education, on Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), and on student learning outcomes across Europe. We have also included deliverables on fostering mental health and well-being, and introducing practices of student-centred learning and teaching. The reports also cover the case of Social and Emotional Education (SEE), focusing on the effects of the Coronavirus global pandemic, as well as looking into quality frameworks and strategic policy documents.
