Network report presented at ET2020 Working Group

NESET analytical report ‘Teaching media literacy in Europe: evidence of effective school practices in primary and secondary education'NESET member Dalibor Sternadel recently attended a meeting of the ET2020 Working Group on Promoting Common Values and Inclusive Education and presented the analytical report ‘Teaching media literacy in Europe: evidence of effective school practices in primary and secondary education’. The presentation was followed by a Q&A with members of the WG, which include representatives from EU Member States, EFTA and candidate countries.

The report reviews relevant European and international research to better understand how teaching and learning practices can support students’ media literacy in primary and secondary education. It provided a fruitful contribution to the theme of the first day of the WG meeting, “Use and abuses of modern media”.
